Handmade Wedding Stationery Table Plans

Table plans are a great way of putting a professional finishing touch to your wedding or party, but you have to get it right, here are some do's and dont's to consider.

DON'T split up family or close friends if you can help it – most guests will prefer to sit with someone they are comfortable with..
DO consider a children's table if you're having younger guests. Not everyone invites young children but if you are going to this is a good idea, and positioning it near the door can also make sense, they can be taken out if they misbehave during the speeches.
DON'T make hard work trying to sort out your seating plan. Write everyone's names on post-it notes and move them around until you find an arrangement you like.
DO try to put at least a couple of people who know each other on each table – it'll help to kick-start conversation
DON'T forget to think about the top table seating plan. Traditionally this table should seat the bride, groom, the bride and grooms' parents, the best man and the chief bridesmaid, but you don't have to stick to this!
