It is my recommendation that you order your Wedding Invitations at least four weeks prior to posting them out to your guests, this will allow you plenty of time to receive your Wedding Invitations and double check your order to make sure you have received everything.
Although you will have received and signed off proofs etc you need to make sure no mistakes were made, it will also allow you enough time for extra invites if required. Don't forget you will need plenty of time to address all the envelopes!
Wedding Invitations should be posted so that your guest will receive them at least six to eight weeks prior to your Wedding. This will allow your guest enough time to make travel plans and return the reply card you included with your Wedding Invitation. Ideally the reply by date should be four weeks prior to your wedding date.
You will have many other things to take care of as your wedding approaches and your wedding invitations should be addressed and posted out as one of your first tasks. There will undoubtedly be last minute names to add and address changes to deal with so please allow yourself plenty of time to accomplish this task.
